Mount Tamalpais Fly Fishers
is a fly fishing club based in Marin County. Our goal is to bring together fly
anglers to share knowledge, experiences, information, and fun times. We gather
for various activities including monthly meetings, regular fishing trips,
casting, and occasional casual dinners or barbecues. The monthly meetings often
feature guest speakers and include fly tying, equipment and technique
discussions, and fishing reports from other members. Our members span all levels
of skill, from beginner to veteran, and we are looking for more.
Napa Valley Fly
Fishermen
The Napa Valley Fly Fishermen were formed in 1970 by a group of
local fishermen who were interested in promoting the art of angling with an
artificial fly, passing on knowledge of this art to fellow anglers and
conserving and enhancing the quality of our California Fisheries.

Pacific Rivers Council
Our mission is to protect and restore rivers, their watersheds, and native
aquatic species. Advocating a whole watershed approach to land management, PRC
fills a unique niche in the conservation community. Our collaboration with
scientific and academic communities is bridging the gap between aquatic science
and environmental policy. Our headquarters are in Eugene, OR and we have
satellite offices in Portland, OR and Polson, MT.

Santa Barbara Flyfishers
Santa Cruz Fly
Fishermen
The Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen began as a small group of fly
fishers, mainly steelhead fishers and one or two salt water fishers, gathering
together on the banks of the San Lorenzo River, sharing tips, tales, and other
fishing lore, and had its formal roots at Ernie's Casting Pond, a local fly shop
in Santa Cruz. The club has grown to over 150 members, and has ongoing classes
in fly tying, fly casting, and rod building. They meet on the first Thursday of
every month, at 7:00 PM, at the Soquel Grange, 2800 Porter St., Soquel, Calif.,
and feature speakers and programs from all over the state, presenting slides and
speaking on a wide range of subjects relating to fly fishing, such as
entomology, conservation, hot fishing spots, techniques, all to broaden the fly
fishing experience.
